报告摘要: A mathematical model explaining pattern formation in developmental biology is proposed. The model is a modification of the activator-inhibitor system by Gierer and Meinhardt. In order to control the distribution of activator concentration we include a rapid process of enhancing small difference arising from intrinsic spatial heterogeneity.
