Title:  On a geometrical inverse scattering problem and its applications

Abstract: This talk is concerned with the inverse problems of recovering the shape of an inhomogeneous impenetrable or penetrable scatterer by a minimal number of scattering measurements. I shall discuss our recent progress on the uniqueness, stability and reconstruction algorithms, as well as its applications to scattering theory and invisibility cloaking.
