题目:Modeling gene regulatory network with chromatin activity
摘要:Gene regulatory networks study the mechanism that how the gene expression is regulated and have an important role in every process of life, including cell differentiation, metabolism, cell cycle and signal transduction. Many studies indicate that genome-wide tran1111ional levels are highly correlated with chromatin state. Because cell packs a lot of genetic and regulatory information through a structure known as chromatin, i.e., DNA is wrapped around histone proteins and is tightly packed in a remarkable way. To express a gene in a specific coding region, the chromatin would open up and DNA loop may be formed by interacting enhancers and promoters. In this talk, we will introduce our recent efforts to consider chromatin state in modeling regulatory system.
