报告题目：Zero Extension for Poisson Equations

报告摘要：I will talk about the joint work with Prof. Yongyong Cai in Beijing Computational Science Research Center. I will introduce the zero extension problems for Poisson equations and correct some misunderstanding in these problems. I will present necessary and sufficient conditions to guarantee that the extended functions of solutions by zero extension for Poisson equations in a smaller domain are still solutions of the corresponding extension problems in a larger domain. I will also talk about zero extension problems for Poisson equations near the boundary of a domain.
