Title：Computational Systems Biology for Complex Diseases,

Abstract: A biological process, in particular, disease progression, is a nonlinear dynamical process. Thus, how to quantify this process and elucidate the nonlinear biological phenomena at molecular and network level is a difficult task in biology and medicine. In this talk, I will summarizethe recent works of my group as well as the other Chinese groups to challenge such a problem from systems perspective. In particular, I willintroduce a number of recent works on early-diagnosis of diseases, and causality detection, and dynamics prediction with application examples based on biomedical data.
