Title:Dynamics and Permanence of Diffusive Lotka-Volterra Systems with Three Competing Species

Abstract: In this talk, we firstly introduce some recent study on three Lotka-Volterra competing systems, ODE system as well as PDE system. Then we mainly talk about the diffusive Lotka-Volterra systems for three competing species, with theoretical proof as well as some numerical calculation (simulation). We obtain criteria for permanent coexistence for diffusive models for three competing species in heterogeneous environments. We prove that if the inter-competing strength is very weak, the system is always permanent, provided that each single one of the three species can survive in the absence of the two other species.
