Title: Inverse diffraction grating problems with multiple directions

Abstract: Inverse scattering problems in a half space have received a lot of attention over the last twenty years. However, most uniqueness results in inverse diffraction grating problems (periodic structures) are justified with incoming plane waves either having the same quasiperiodic parameter or incited at multiple frequencies. In this talk we will explore the unique determination of sound-soft periodic curves using incident plane waves with different directions at a fixed frequency. This talk has been prepared based on discussions with Haiwen Zhang.
